1 shirt 3 ways

Hello fellow fashionistas!
Are you sick of looking through your closet and not knowing what to wear because you either already wore it or it is just dull. This post is for you. I've had this piece of stripped material in my closet for quite awhile and I just never attempted to wear it. Now I have finally come up with 3 different ways to wear it!
This is a shirt that really needs some vamping up! It is long enough to wear with leggings but too dull to wair all by itself.
Purchased at Reitmans and also comes with braided black tie belt. $10-$20! Good deal!!

Comfy/Classy
At school you want to be as comfy as possible while sitting in a desk all day! But you also want look good while doing it. This outfit is easy to just throw on if you are in a hurry and you can always add extra pieces to add more of your style.
What I'm Wearing:
♥ Black Leggings - Off the Wall (Super comfy!!)
♥White Watch - Ardene
♥Adidas Backpack - Bentley
♥ Yellow Shoes - Friskeys (Comfy!!)
The belt really makes the outfit because it snitches in at your waist and it really transforms the shirt.
Make sure you don't forget your glasses!!

Edgy/Rocker
Everyone has different style! Edgy is one of my favourite styles. Probably because I love wearing black. But this shirt can also be transformed into a shirt without having to cut anything! Just tuck the shirt into a high-waisted skirt or jeans.
What I'm Wearing:
♥Leather Jacket - Urban Planet
♥Lace Skirt - Sears
♥Ankle Botties - Stitches
♥Pink & Black Zebra Belt - Ardenes (Adds a pop of colour but still stays edgy!)
♥Sunglasses - Ardenes
You can also switch things up by adding an unexpected headpiece (Icing)
♥Black & Dark Silver Rings - Ardene
♥Necklace - Cousin

Dressy/Night Out!
Sometimes all we need is a night out with our girls! Or your going on a special date or to the club or to any dressy occasion!
This shirt seems like you could never make it a going out dress, but I had my ways of working it out!!
So go out and enjoy whatever you plan on doing!!  :]
What I'm Wearing:
♥Purple Highwaisted Skirt - Melissa
♥ Cork Wedged Heels - Ardenes (If your not a heels kind of girl flats or gladiators would look very cute too!!)
♥Purple & White Necklace - Reitmans
♥ Miscellaneous Bracelets - Icing
Who new this headpiece could go with so many outfits! Would you dare to wear it?
I really hope this inspired you to go into your closet and find a piece of clothing you never wear and transform it into a piece you will always want to wear!!
xx :]

Nail Trend: Half Moon Manicure

This has been a big trend since fall/winter 2010. I will admit i hated the look when i first seen it, I didn't understand why someone would want a reversed french tip. Luckly, I caved in and now im loving it! I frist discovered this look in one of my seventeen magazines and I've seen it everywhere.

On the Runway: Christian Dior

Celebrities: Ciara at the BET Awards

Now Me:

This was my first time trying out this look. It was a bit hard to do, but once I got use to it, it became quite easy. Since I don't have any french tip stickers I used reinforcements at my cuticle and painted a pink coral colour by Revlon "Electric Pink" and the rest of the nail China Glaze "Turned Up Turquoise (neon)" . I will definitly trying out this trend again!

KT's DIY- Headband

YAY! I'm very excited to be doing this blog post because DIYs are one of my favourite things to do. For a while I've known how to make a turban inspired headband, so I decided to show you all my way of creating your own headband!

Firstly, I put my hair up into a bun so it would be out of the way.
Take any scarf you want, it can be big or small. I decided to use one that was smaller to created a smaller looking head band.
Put the scarf behind your neck and make sure the scarf is the same length on each side.
Take the two sides and fold them across your head so then the two sides would be pointing down and going the opposite directions.
Then take the scarf from each side and twirl it. It will make an illusion of a knot sort of.
You can also twirl the scarf as many times as you want. I only did once.
As you can see it made a knot.
Now the two sides are on their normal sides facing down.
Make sure you hold it tight also so it doesn't fall off your head.
Pull the two sides of the scarf down to the nape of your neck.
Tie securely to make sure the headband will stay.
Let your hair down.
You've made your very own headband!! :]

*Let me know if you wanna see anymore DIYs ♥

Review: NYC Smooch Proof Lip Stain

Hey Everybody!
This past summer I've been loving lip stains because they are so easy to wear in the heat. You all know how much i loved Revlons Just Bitten. I decided I wanted to try out NYC Smooch Proof 16h Lip Stain. The colour that I have is Rock on Ruby.
Price: ... This is relatively cheap for stains. This is definitely worth the money too! If you are thinking of trying out a lip stain NYC is definitely the way to go!
Packaging: The packaging is a marker form. It is compact and would be great to carry around in your purse.
The felt tip marker application works very well. It is easy to use around the edges of my mouth. The marker hasn't dried out yet! But make sure the cap is on securely.
Quantity: The NYC lip stains come in a variety of 10 different colours. I find that some of the colours are similar to eachother. I love the Berry Long Time Stain and am anchus to go and buy it. I also find that some of the colours are dupes for other stains from different brands.

Quality: This stain is SUPER pigmented. I got a red! and we all know that the classic red look really can pop. This colour certainly POPS!! The colour really glided onto my lips perfectly. The statin takes a bit long to actually dry on my lips and I find that I need to be careful not to get any red on my teeth. I would wait a few minutes to add gloss or balm over top. This stain also smells amazing! It actually smells like a wine a bit to me!  :P
